Assuming everyone in the world has mastered one of the two, which skill would prefer to be the master of, Legilimency or Occlumency?
Just so everyone knows: Legilimency is reading minds, Occlumency is defending your mind

Occlumency . . . Ever since childhood, I have had a fear that people could read my mind. I'm a bit paranoid, I suppose. I just prefer that nobody knows what I'm thinking. I would also feel guilty if I ever intruded on the thoughts of another.

Well, if others had the power to read my mind i'd want to master Occlumency. I don't really feel a need to know the other, cause that's really invading someones privacy and i can't really think of a great need for that, unless they were a criminal of something. And if they were they probably would know Occlumency, so it would be pointless anyways.

i would prefer having occulemncy. because if people out there had the ability to read my mind, i would like to very much keep my thoughts private.
and i dont want people reading my thoughts, so im defenatly not going to go around reading everybody elses. that is like the ultimate breach of privacy, if not even your thoughts are your own, what do you really have.
