I liked him, but he did seem a bit like a copy of Gollum, from LotR...

dobby is the cutest little thing! he was soooo cute when harry freed him in book 1, with the sock & lucius malfoy. lol hes soooo cuute, i just want to cuddle him ! Wink

I liked Dobby as soon as he was introduced and I like how he flourished into a brilliant character and he made the book seem more important Very Happy

when I saw him the first time at Privet Drive in harry's room I was shocked and thought - what the hell is that? - but I was 10 years old and I hadn't read the books yet. I began to read all the books when I was thirteen, just after I saw the third film "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Aszkaban".
But he's just so cute, brave and helpful, all what he has done to help harry in dangerous situations, though he risked his own life.

Applause for Dobby! :-*

I didn't like him at first. he iritated me for some time. I know he was trying to save Harry's life but he almost killed him for several times. but later I liked him and his death in 7th part shocked me.

In the begining and middle Dobby was funny but I had a bit of some puzzlement towards him because he kept trying to hurt Harry. In the end it all worked out and I loved him. Very Happy

at first i didn't like him he was just so annoying. but later on in the series i fell in love with him. i actually cried when he died, and every time i read that part i cry Crying or Very sad
