I'm sort of torn on this. Our society ahs made adults into children. A pregnant 16-year-old does not fit with our time, but nature has completely different rules. I feel that if a sixteen-year-old has the means to care for a child, then there isn't really a problem with her having a child.
The only problem is that there are so many teens who do not have their own television shows or money in the bank who are going to say, "If Jamie Lynn Spears can have a kids, then why can't i?" So, I'm torn between thinking that she let America down by being a poor role model for girls and by the idea that it is her life and she can do what she wants with it.
Let's all face it, though, she can't be any worse of a mother than Britney . . . _________________
