I was wondering what everyone else thinks. Do you want an eighth Harry Potter book? If so, what do you want to be in it?

I can't really say if there should be an eight book, but I would like there to be one, and there wpn't be one.

Part of me would really like an 8th book, but I don't know. Hasn't everything that needed to be said already been said at the end of the 7th book? Although the closing was pretty short, I think it spoke for itself. Although, if JK did make another book, it would be cool if it continued on with Harry's kids...and a new problem facing them (more like an arch-nemesis!). However, for it to be very good, it might have to continue with another 6 books!

p.s. did you hear about the Tales of the Beetle of the Bard ((HPatDH)? jkr wrote 7 copies; gave 6 away, sold the 7th for 4 million dollars. i soo need to borrow that kinda cash...

As much as I want the series to continue, the end was set in stone by book 7 for years, and JK wouldn't lie to us. She wrote a series that's fine how it is.

As much as I adore Harry Potter, no I don't think there should be an eight HP book. While some things in the 7th book was crushing and made the ending of the series a little harder, I think an eighth book would mess the series up. JKR did a wonderful job with book 7 and I think it ended like it should have.

ya she said that there was going to be only 7 books so if she came out with another book then that would be confusing. we would all like another book but we all know there isn't going to be one. i think that she should write another series of books. that's the only thing we can hope for.
