((This will be my last post for a while. I'm going to Myrtel Beach for a few days.))
Jaden stopped walking and stood still. He slowly turned his head toward her and then back toward the school grounds. She gritted her teeth and raised her wand.
"Avada," she began to scream.
"Expelliarmus!" Jaden yelled as he quickly spun around. There was a huge flash of light.

Jaden stood his ground very proud of himself. He sighed as he saw her wand out of her reach but he kept his wand pointed at her.
"I told you to give up."

She leaped on him and began to wrestle his wand from his hand. But he wouldn't let her get it without a fight. He kicked and punched to get her off but it wasn't working.

Jaden's shoulders were pinned down and she had a grin on her smug face. He pulled back his leg and kicked her in the gut throwing her off him.
"All's fair in love and war." He grinned as he slowly got up.

He jumped out of the way just in time, she dove through his billowing robes. He turned quickly.
"Who says this isn't war?" He smiled at her. "Accio wand!" He pointed his wand at her fallen one.

She was charging him once more and he had only an instant to act. If he had one shot at ending this it was now. He look down at both wands and looked up at her.
"STUPEFY!" He yelled with both wands pointed at the charging girl.

she pushed her body to the ground... the beam coming from his wand hit a tree behind her ....
he walked up to her ... she kicked her leg, pushing him to the ground and prised a wand from his hand...

Willow was walking toward the owlery and saw Nate sitting on the bank. Curiosity got the best of her so she walked over to see what was up. A glance down the hill explained everything. She smiled at the intensity of the duel, then looked sideways at Nathan, "How's it going?" she asked cooly.
"Do you think we should give him a hand?" Nate said with a hint of anxiety in his voice.
Willow looked down just in time to see Jaden block a hex like it was second nature, "Naw, I think he's got it well under control." Willow smiled again to herself thinking of what a talented wizard Jaden is. "He's going to do great things you know.." Remembering about her letter, she bid Nate a small wave and returned to her embarkment on the owlery.
