The other movies have been a disappointment but this is by far, the largest disappointment for me.
ahha despite how much I hate how the movies and characters are portrayed, I'll still buy the DVD's and watch the movies in theatres Embarassed

WHAT WAS MIKE NEWELL THINKING?
I agree with you, you can still deliver a good Harry Poter movie while cutting some parts that aren't needed but in this movie, they cut out so many parts that are essential to the upcoming books and the whole Harry Potter Plot!
He got Dumbledore all wrong, as well as many other characters.
ex: slamming harry potter against the wall? Thats not the Dumbledore we all know and love!

This movie was an overall dark movie but I think they went cheap with the special effects.
Yeah this movie was a giant flopper.

I hope David Yates will deliver a better job in...72 days!

I hated having to explain who the hell that man was in the beginning of the movie.

The problem is, the little things that stood out made the whole movie seem that much further from the original text. The dress color seems so insignificant on the surface, but once you start adding up all the small things, you have a large annoyance.

it needed the world cup! and they also needed to put in harry giving the weasley's the tri-wizard money...the people who just see the movies and don't read will be confused when they open their shop..wondering where they got their money =/

it annoyed me how they made Beauxbatons all girl and Durmstrang all boys. That makes sense how? Only girls are magical in France? Only boys are...well where ever Durmstrang is?

The movie was really long yet seemed rushed. I guess it needed to be 3 hours long to fit everything in.

I still enjoy the movie though.

Yeah, I hated it! Worst Harry Potter film, if you ask me. It was that stupid new directors fault. Bet he hasn't even read the books!

I was disappointed with the maze scene myself. It made it look like there were no obstacles at all (bar the hedge swallowing up people who had fallen of course). The book is probably my favourite, but they missed out a lot of things e.g Barty Crouch Sr.'s death, SPEW, Winky and Dobby and probably most important of all, the row at the end between Fudge and Dumbledore.

Out of all the films so far, I think the most realisitc so far has been the 1st one, but looking back and watching it now, it makes me cringe to see how bad the acting was.

I didn't hate it but some of the lines and actions made me cringe. eg "Who wants me to open it?". it's always to be expected though, nobody is perfect. It's sad when a scene is missed out though Sad

they focused way too much on the special effects and not enough on the plot line.
