Someone said they saw an extended version on TV. All the deleted scenes from the DVD were put in as well as some other ones.
The DVD doesn't show anything about Harry and Hermione taking Norbert to the top of the tower and having Charlie Weasleys friends come on brooms to take him, but it apparently was in this extended version.
Does anyone know where I can find a copy of this?

Whoa, I never heard of that scene in any extended versions. I would love it if this rumour were to be true!

Deleted scene 1- Im assuming that its just before harry gets his letter because dudley is wearing his smeltings uniform when he gets the first hogwarts letter.
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=H4N34KM5V6o

Deleted scene 2- No idea what this one is about
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=l6bNlbbyZKY

Deleted scene 3- Again no idea
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=2aQiLzsK5xU

Deleted scene 4- Just after Harry and Ron safe Hermione from the troll.
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=XBHn-tO2dnQ

Deleted Scene 5- Christmas Dinner I think, although Harry had just got the Invisbality cloak, but he found the mirror of erisad at night time. So im not to sure where this fits in.

You're going to need to be a little more specific.

Here ya go...

Deleted Scene 1- This scene is in the beginning. The scene was edited down for time constraints. In the finished product the dialogue was reduced.
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=H4N34KM5V6o

Deleted Scene 2- This was an extended version of the scenes where the Hogwarts letter kept popping up and terrorizing the Durlseys, driving veronon insane untell he packed up the family and took them to the Inn on the Hut, or whetever it was called.
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=l6bNlbbyZKY

Deleted Scene 3- This scene would have taken place right while Harry and Hagrid were on the way to Diagon Alley. This scene was delted and instead they showed Harry reading the list while walking down the streets of London, just before they enter the Leaky Cauldron.
I hated that they deleted this scene because in this version Hagrid mentions wanting a dragon as a pet, which Harry later on refers to in teh movie. In the aired version, Hargid doesn't mention wanting a dragon as a pet, leaving Harry's line sort of hanging there in mid-air.
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=2aQiLzsK5xU

Deleted Scene 4- This was an extended version of the trio's first Potions Class.
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5FXMto-x6c

Deleted Scene 5- This would have taken place after Ron and Harry saved Hermione from the troll. I was sad they left this scene out. This was to replace Harry's thoughts in the book about how the three of them became friends after facing the troll.
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=XBHn-tO2dnQ

Deleted Scene 6- This scene was after Harry discovered the Mirror of Erised... but right before DD caught him looking at it and warned him not to be overcome with it.
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=PYAD4-NaTyY

Deleted Scene 7- When Harry discovers the Chocolate Frog card with DD on it has Nicholas Flamel's name on it...
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=TDM72LKOI8Y

I think this is all of them, I would need to check my dvd to make sure...

^ Yep, thats all of them.

Someone integrated the deleted scenes into the movies and made the extended editions available for download here. I'm not sure if it's legal though.

Downloading movies for free is illegal, I'm sure.
ABC Family channel often airs them with the deleted scenes... I think the Disney channel does, too.

Well it says you have to own the original before downloading. I own the originals and downloaded these 'fan-edit' thingys, was that illegal?

It sayd you have to own the original before downloading? Do you have to insert the original dvd into your computer before downloading?

I don't think so. It's probaby just a disclaimer to cover their asses. Of course, it still seem rather illegal.
