Ok! snape. Snape doesn't like Harry cause he looks into his Penshive (childhood). His bad memory. But snape intrudes on Harry's bad memories when teaching him this lesson. I would of walked out if it had been me.  Noone shows me my bad experiences and get away with it lol. Does anyone else feel the same? Or am I being silly? Thanks for reading.

Harry saw Snape's worst memory in the pensieve without permission. That was why Snape was angry about that one.

Plus, Snape probably liked keeping Harry in the dark when it came to his motives for not liking him. He also didnt want anyone, Im sure, to see some of his most vulnerable moments.

He put them in there in case, heaven forbid, Harry was capable of defending himself against legilimancy.

Yeah, I think using the pensive only sets them aside. I don't think just becuse you plop your thoughts into a pensieve that you automatically forget those memories.

I would have been angry but remember that, Harry was sent to do it by Dumbledor. He couldn't realy say, "Sorry old chap. This whole thing is giving me chapped cheeks. Tata old been." No he had a responciblility to everyone.

ya hates voldemort more than snape so he would sit through extra lessons with snape just so that he could defend himself against voldemort

snape had to see harry's memories so harry could learn occlumency, he obviously hated it but dumbledore said he had to do it.
dumble was wrong in not telling harry the importance of learning occlumency, that he could be tricked and shown an unreal dream, it would have been a stronger incentive for harry
snape did wrong when he mocked harry about his memories, didn't he do so once? something about marge's dogs?

ya well in the movie when snape saw the memory of harry and sirius hugging, snape said, "I think I'm going to be sick." but this is discussion of the book so i guess that doesn't count

I think it's not about getting permission or not, because Snape will not say''Hey Harry! Let's look at my past , look how your father makes fun of me!'' or Harry will not say ''Hey, prof. Snape can I look at your Pensieve?''
It's because of the privacy.If Harry had gone so far, maybe he would understand Snape's love for Lily. In that memory, Snape didn't seem a boy who is in love with Lily but if Harry had watched more, things could be different. |
