Repaetd news shows are talking about end of the world. theyve even written a book called 2012 which they think is the date when ittle end.

they say the sun will get so hot heat rays will be immesnely increase din earth. it will be so hot north and south pole will melt causing floods and tsunaims. since they melt the worlds degree changes by 45 degrees causing all volcanoes in the earth to explode. they say scientsits say the day will be december 21, 2012. now at first i didnt believe this. but then the proof was overwhelming. they studied ancient Indian, Mayan, Chinese, Aztec, Egyptian, etc calendars. ALL OF THEM ENDED THEIR CALENDARS ON DECEMBER 21, 2012. SCIENTISITS FIRST DISCOVERED THE DATE THEMSELVES AND THEN FOUND THIS PROOF.

you can purchase the book 2012 from any bookstore. (yes they wrote a book)

some religious people believe it will end in 2008. because of these wars and natural disasters.

i dont really believe either. Im a Christian who goes to a Private Christian school. i belve no one knows when the world will end except God himself. however its a but odd...God did say that when natural disasters and war take place its a sign of his return...and also that calendar thing freaked me out.

what do you think?

seriously is this true? ive also watched in discovery channel about if a meteor, or something like that, hits the earth. its gonna bring about a new ice age, as well as the death of mankind. perhaps God is so tired and sick of us that he's gonna create a new species, a species which rigidly follows the ten commandments.

my science teacher was talking about something like this the other day. He metioned this asteroid that was supposed to hit earth on 2012 on destroy life as we know it. He went into this long speech that lasted about 10 minutes and he said "That is until a year ago when we noticed it was coming nowhere near us". We laughed pretty hard Smile

its actually possible for almost all of the other species to get lost... i mean if volcanoes are gonna explode... (f*ck that there are hundreds of volcanoes where i live)... anyway i think that only a handful could survive. and if only a handful can survive, it could well mean the end of the world.... and a some millenia after will be the beginning of phase 3, a new world.

The cockroaches will survive, those things never freaken die. Even if every species dies, as long as something exists, a planet, a star, any form of matter, it isn't the end of the world. Or even if there is no matter, what about religious folk, they believe in existence after death, a world by definition is collective existence.

but there could be such a thing... when a great disaster happens, such as that one mentioned. human life will be wiped out, along with many other forms of life (yeah probably the cockroaches will still survive... in which case i think id rather die). so yeah, for those who believe in life after death, they will leave the physical world, which is already probably entering into a new ice age, and they will join our heavenly father in heaven... or join satan in hell... whichever.

What does it matter? If it's something preventable I care but otherwise why should we. Death is inevitable, you may not even live until the day our species dies so really it's all just another day on the edge. And if you're wasting your life, only to realise it once you know you're going to die soon then you're also the kind of person who won't do anything differently once someone does tell you.

we all know that death is inevitable... but we all expect it at age 75 or something... not in year 2012. were all still very young... and we know its not something we can prevent... only delay. but it might even be too late to delay it after we have damaged the ozone layer.

If it happens, it happens I dont care really..I just hope theres no suffering, I mean not just for humans but for animals too. The worlds needs a good wash to clean the filth away.

yeah. i think dying is better than being stuck with no one to talk to except the cockroaches.... EEEEKKK!!!

but i hope i dont drown in a tsunami or burn with lava. maybe i could just fall off a building or something when the earthquakes come.
