I loved both of these books. Not just because they were thrillers, but because they brought out great points no one would have ever thought of. Such as in Da Vinci Code how supposedly Jesus married Mary Magdalene and they had children. Or in Angles & Demons how this so-called "anti-matter" was about to explode in the Vatican, and the Pope set everything up. Real great thrillers. I absolutely loved these books. Dan Brown has also written Digital Fortress and Deception Point. I still need to read those, but anyone else read these books?

I've read both Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons.. I personally wouldn't put them up with the greatest books I've read but they're not bad.. I like A&D much better than DVC.. I had DVC figured out way to soon.. That was the only problem I found in his writing was that I could figure out what the mystery was way before you were suppose to and the surprise was .. eh.. Kinda like M. Night Shamalan's new movies...

i liked angels and deamons better, but if you read one of the two, you will find the other very predictable.

I read both of them and liked the both. I'd have to give the edge to The DaVinci Code, but not by much. I just found the topic more intriguing, not necessarily it being a better story.

I loved reading the Da Vinci Code, the movie was just bad. The book is so much more enjoyable, i understood it better after re reading it though.

Umm so far as I know it's still a myth.

I forgot I made this topic.

I liked Angels and Demons more because of the action. It's like you could feel yourself in the book. Great plot too.

I love these books! They're thrillers, but at the same time Dan Brown adds such realistic imagery to them, whether its the locations or dates. They really make you think, and that's why they're surrounded by controversy. Such amazing novels, definitely re-reading material.
I hear Brown's releasing a new book and publishers are fighting for it because since HP is over, it is going to be the next biggest publishing event. I cannot wait. I love him, and I really want to read more by him!

Dan Brown has great ideas and he knows how to get it out there but I wouldn't say hes the most capturing writer. Reading Angels and Demons was more of a chore 2/3 of the book because he's such a slow writer and plateaus for a bit. Maybe thats his technique so that near the end, you're dying to finish it and you get the action-rush.

I hated 'Da Vinci Code', I prefered the 'Labryinth' over it.

But I loved 'Angels and Demons'...brilliant book.

Robert Langdon Falls serveral 1000 feet from a heliocopter, gets shot at, and he also survives a collapsing cathedral/church. Funny
