i take back what i said about shooting them. ill just starve them. we didnt kill them, we just let them be. Very Happy

happy now?

or provide them with a fork, knife, bonfire and ketchup and tell them to make it last the rest of their lives.

then it is up to them to stay alive. Smile

I don't know what the real torture is...attempting survival with ketchup, or trying to eat that stuff off of a fork.

I also agree with what you said, Ravvy--I could honestly kill someone who I know has done wrong like that, and would not care one bit. To care about the life of a cold-blooded murderer or rapist is to pretty much crap on their victim(s), and I could not live with myself for caring about someone like that.

i really dont care about their lives. they deserve to die a slow and painful death, that is of course, inexpensive. starving is for free. dying of thirst is for free.

Reading your posts is honestly sickening. I don't' understand how people can live in the 21st century with Iron Age philosophy.

iron age punishments are all theyre fit for. its not sickening and they deserve it. maybe if you lost a family member due to murder youll see the merits of our arguments.

It's pretty sickening to know people sympathize with baby shooters.

I don't sympathize with baby-shooters. We should find the criminal, and sentence him to life in prison, that way if we made a mistake or if further evidence comes up and proves that someone else was the murderer, we didn't kill an innocent man. You act like not killing someone equates to letting them free.

oh okay then lets keep them in the harshest conditions possible in prison. thats punishment. simply staying locked up is not.

That is sick. Those men need to be locked in jail for the rest of their lives. I can't believe that people would hurt a child like that, it's so infuriating to hear things like this.

I work with kids and if anyone ever tried to hurt one of them I'd open a can a worms on them. You don't just don't do thins like that. It's wrong to the millionth degree.

That's fine, as long as you realize you'll be wasting more of your tax money that way, as the people proven innocent will need a hefty compensation fee. As long as it's nothing permanently damaging, it's fine in my book though.

if the evdience is beyond reasonable doubt, it is worth the risk.

In court, 'beyond a reasonable doubt' is never beyond a reasonable doubt.

if there is a camera depicting two men raping a woman, then that is beyond reasonable doubt.

People have been convicted for evidence that clearly wasn't beyond a reasonable doubt though. 1 or 2 eyewitness testimonies from children under 10 could get you convicted.

one or two eyewitnesses doesnt qualify for "beyond reasonable doubt". the govt should redefine what "beyond reasonable doubt" means then. a camera depicting a rape scene is clearly BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT. thats why it is called BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT.

It worls both ways... there has been video evidence of people being beaten, but the jury still acquitted them...

then the jury is stupid! change the jury and their immensely stupid policies. the problem lies not in capital punishment, but in the stupidity of the jury. i saw something similar in "Eye for an Eye". that was stupid. they already found the sperm of the guy inside the girl. so why did they acquit him? in effect, another woman was murdered.
