| I may have missed something here. In the beginning of the book the reader finds out that Voldemort believes Snape to be loyal to him. On page 549 Harry says to Dumbledore "And isn't Voldemort convinced that Snape's on his side, even now? Harry was not asking a question here he was saying it as a reminder to Dumbledore. How/when does Harry find out that Voldemort thinks Snape is on his side? |

he probably doesnt know. he just believes. he just assumes that since snape was tasked to be a spy, and nothing diastrous has happened to his relationship with voldie, perhaps voldie does trust him.
that never appeared in voldemorts thoughts; so harry had only guessed. bt if you are asking why harry can access voldemort's thoughts, its because he is a horcrux.
what i want to know is why voldemort cant access harry's thoughts.

yeah maybe harry is just guessing there.....but harry doesn't know snape was tasked to be a spy, but yeah since snape isn't dead lke karkoff maybe one of the reasons that Harry is guessing voldemort thinks snape is loyal to him...
harry isn't getting anymore of voldemort's thoughts in HBP, I think it's cuz Voldemort is blocking him now...and all I know so far is they are connected through the scar....i guess it reveals harry is a horcrux in
deathly hallows, but i haven't read it yet.
maybe voldemort can't access harry's thoughts cuz it would be very painful for him to possess his body like in the end of OOF....? |

Voldemort was blocking Harry after he possessed him OotP. Before that though, I don't why Voldemort couldn't see Harry's thoughts.

ajtaylor: quite possibly, which explains why voldemort cannot possess harry when he is at hogwarts.
however, why had he ever performed occlumency on harry?
