I've seen it and I thought it was good. Keira made a good, strong Elizabeth Bennet.
I can't help it!...I must share the fact that I love the BBC miniseries version w/ Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth, which I saw before the latest version. It was much longer, so it helped me understand the characters better.
Although I wasn't too affected by Matthew Macfayden's Mr. Darcy, I did like the foggy morning scene w/ keira!

the scene w/ Keira and Judy Dench was so intense! They were so angry at each other, I felt like ducking, so as not to get caught in the crossfire. haha...can't you tell I'm not a big fan of confrontations?
The fact that the scene took place in a dark room made it all the more dramatic. (It takes place outside and during the day in the BBC version.) |

I like the movie, it was good, but the book is awesome in comparison. _________________

OH MY GOD. This film is one of my everlasting favourites. I watch it at least once a week.
Keira plays the perfect Elizabeth Bennet (although maybe a bit too pretty it seems) and Matthew MacFayden plays a perfect Mr. Darcy.
I fell in love with both of them. I know Mr. Darcy is the most sought after fictional character but I should emphasis how much I adored his character in the film. The way he looked at Elizabeth everytime he seen her.....ahhhhhhh |

the movie was good. haven't read the book or seen the bbc miniseries though so I have nothing to compare it too. However I did see the wishbone... _________________
