I only really cared for the first book, The Red Dragon, .. I didn't particularly like Starling's character.. I dunno.. It was a series that I kinda ranked with the Jurassic Park ones..

The firsts were great/pretty good, the seconds were ok, and the thirds were barely readable... or at least that is my opinion..

I've only read the first two, and I thought both were pretty good. but if it is like what you said, It would be the opposite of HP. Smile

Because those keep getting better and better.

I only read Hannibal Rising and loved it. Then saw the movie and it was alright.
All I can say is Gaspard Ulliel is yummy =)
andandand while reading, I was slightly attracted to Hannibal the cannibal ;]

I love fictional characters. I tend to love easily.
