^I love a lot of the classics. I've been trying to read some of them for a while now, but two are Uncle Tom's Cabin (Anyone read it? Such a good book) and the Mists of Avalon.

I also love mysterious adventure like Pendragon, His Dark Materials, and most certainly Warriors....what's soon to be at least all 23 of them. The Icemark Chronicals are right up there too.

Those are a lot of books I like, TKaM is one of my favorite books of all time. I like pretty much all of those, except Lord of the Rings because I've never read them. I'm probably going to next summer.

I love the classics, too. My three favorite current writers are Phillipa Gregory, Nicholas Sparks, and Gregory Maguire . . . outside of JK Rowling, that it.

As for the children's books, my favorite are Shin's Tricycle (go the the library and read it. You won't be able to get it out of you head) and Zen Shorts.

There's too many..

Kushiel's Legacy - Jaqueline Carey
The Wayfarer Redemption series - Sara Douglass (though the ending still pisses me off)
The Sevenwaters Trilogy - Juliet Marillier
His Darker Material - Philip Pullman
Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Jesus's Childhood Pal - Christopher Moore
The Bitterbynde Trilogy - Cecilia Dart-Thornton
Most of Philippa Gregory's books
The Lord of the Rings
Watchers - dean Koontz
Eragon & Eldest books
.....

Argh.. my steams gone.. I've too many to name.. Jane Eyre, Little Women, Shakespeare, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, One Thousand White Women, Harry Potters of course..

Yeah. I really had no idea how bad foot binding was until I read that book, then googled some images of it. It's disgusting. I'm happy with my size 9 feet. Wink

Someone mentioned Lord of the Flies and Animal Farm? Yessss. Great books. Lord of the Flies was downright heartwrenching in some parts.

Harry Potter, of course. Pride and Prejudice, Lords of the Rings, Discworld series, some Stephen King.

I generally like fantasy fiction and classic novels. I'm open to anything though.

I think I posted in a similar thread, but oh well, I like books Smile
The Count of Monte Cristo, Dracula, and Frankenstein are three favorites taht come to mind immediately. I read the Dresden Files series as well (the one that the show on SciFi was based on) and can't wait for Small Favor to come out.
As far as just general authors, Poe, Lovecraft, Neil Gaiman, and Richard Mattheson are some of my top picks.
