In this thread i will show you how to do small simple things on the forums to make your experience here a bit more fun and easier.
Let's start with the BOLD CODE
It is simple ! Below is how the code is written out.
Now look how it comes out !

Now. For those of you who are always confused about how to get a signature for them selfs.
First we need a URL that links to a picture.
i want this picture as my signature, so this is what i do.
take my url [ http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e265/XxXConFlicTXxX/Kingdom%20hearts/l_d9fed86e5d5dd93d166faaa5fd06da7a.jpg ]
and add image codes.

What exactly do you mean by "make my wand appear"? If you mean an image with your wand, follow the instructions above to insert an image. If you are referring to text in your signature like a lot of people have it, simply edit your Signature by clicking on Profile at the top of the page.

You have the "Disable BBCode in this post" checked for each of your posts. This is a checkbox located below the main textbox on the posting page. Also, you can set your defaults by clicking on the Profile link at the top and making sure "Always allow BBCode" is set to Yes.

Dar, my dates all read May 29, 2008 because thats the date i joined but everybody else says that they see the dates of the post made. how come mine doesnt?

Could you please tell me what dates you are referring to? The date next to each post? Your "Joined date" under your name on the left of the view topic page?
Please copy the URL of an example page where you see the problem, and also describe where on the page you see it. A screenshot would be even better, if you have that ability. Thanks!

He did join July 11th, that isn't wrong. But it would be great if you could provide a link or a screenshot of where is says May 29th as the date of his last post.

I know what you did. I did the same until I realized it was wrong.
In your profile when you began, in the date box did you put the actual date? Cos that's what I did and it sounds like what's happening to you. Just delete everything from that box and it should go back to what it should be.
