Great comedy about two nerds (young, early 30s physicists?) who live across the hall from a "blonde". One nerd, played by Johnny Galleki (sp?...but he was David from 'Roseanne'), is the awkward one who is in love with her, and the other is the ultra-cerebral one (who actually looks like my husband...also a big weirdo...ha!). The guys have two other nerd friends...one is the smooth talker and the other can't talk to girls at all.

The show is created by Chuck Lorre, who also did Dharma and Greg. I don't watch a lot of tv these days, but I can't miss this one. Its laugh-out-loud funny!

I can't find any videos on youtube, but I've heard the show is funny.

my favorite scene (the nerds playing a computer game one laptops):

Nerd 1: "Here we are gentlemen, the gates of Elzabob!"......

Nerd 2: "Don't panic, this is what the last 97 hours have been about!"......

Nerd 3: "Oh my god, so many goblins!...Tonight I spice my meat with goblin blood!"......

Nerd 4: "I've got the sword of Azeroth!...I am the sword master!...Goodbye peasants!"......

Nerd 3: "He's selling the sword of Azeroth on ebay"......

Nerd 4: "Wait, someone just clicked 'Buy it Now'"

Nerd 1: "I am the sword master!"

I freakin' love that show. I have to watch it every week, or my day just isn't complete. btw, the blonde is played by Kaley Cuoco who also did 8 simple rules.
One of the reasons I really like to watch it is because it's about nerds, kind of like myself, and their awkwardness. I LOVE THAT SHOW!!

I think this show is the best of the CBS Monday night comedy block!

I love that Penny and Leonard are together thanks to a dead/alive cat!!

Yeah, Sheldon actually helped...for a change! He seriously needs some kind of physical encounter...he's the only nerd that hasn't gotten lucky!

As for Leonard and Penny...he actually kissed her...while she was sober! I wonder how their date went! Was that the season finale? If so, I don't mind watching reruns...they're so great, and I can't wait for the dvd!
