In there first Quidditch lesson they say UP! and the brooms come into there hands. Which is wandless magic......I thought they learned wandless magic in the sixth or seventh year. What do you think?

It isn't mentioned in any of the books when they learn wandless magic, or if.

Controlling a broomstick isn't considered wandless magic... brooms seem to be designed to not need wands in order to work.

Yuppers, because the brooms themselves have been bewitched so it's that which makes them fly not the wizards on 'em. Iunno why exactly 'up' makes them come up but it's probably just part of the charm.

I agree with ^ it's probably the way the charm works

They do that in the book too, but I don't think it is really wandless magic, it seems more like they are telling the broom what to do and it just obeys them, if you know what I mean.
