Hi I'm Jen! I'm still trying to adapt to the jargon. I like to say I'm a pretty frequent Internet-er, but I've never kept with the whole slang terminology (obviously, with my use of "Internet-er"). It wasn't until my good friend Amira said, "U R a suxxor. I am leet. KEKEKE!!11!!1+shift!! b0w d0wn 2 mee, n00b!!" that the world of cyberspace demolished itself then reconstructed to high-tech gaming frivolity.
Although, I can't understand how people can hold conversations this way. Can you imagine two professors having a profound discussion about Plato's hypothesis of the Forms and once one professor discovers a breakthrough in his theory, he'll jump on his chair, cry "You got PWNED!" and proceed to raise the roof?
Then again, I did have a professor who fervently asked the student in the front row, "Are you Rick James Bi-" well, you catch my drift. He was an amazing professor and I would be honored to work with him. Because he's a lawyer and I like that type of scene. Which is probably why I watch a lot of Law & Order.
Hi, my name is Jen and I have a short attention span.
And since I haven't really properly introduced myself, I'm 19 and from California. My favorite Harry Potter book is the third one because it made me cry and introduced one of my favorite characters, Sirius. My favorite movie (so far) is the fourth movie because although it left out a lot of stuff from the book (as the others), it makes a great film standing alone (unlike the others). My favorite characters include Snape, Draco, and most recently, Voldemort, because the more in depth you go about their lives, under the layers of evil, you see torn stories of unfortunate souls.
HP topics I like to discuss about is anything, especially predictions about the last book and possible underlying themes (although I've refrained from these discussions because it has been a long while since I've last read the books). Outside HP, I'm interested in Broadway musicals (usually recent ones, but I love touching base with the classics as well) and movies (current favorite actor: Edward Norton). I have no free time because I'm a broke college student, but I do love watching movies, tv shows, and hanging out with my friends. I found this site... no idea. Stumbled upon it.
Basically, with the final book and the new movie coming out for the summer, I'm trying to refresh my passion and knowledge of Harry Potter! It's been a while, but hopefully I can make a full recovery from my hiatus!

LOL that's quite a convincing statement, ThE_DaRk_MaRk, I will certainly consider Slytherin because all my favorite characters seem to students under that house.
BTW, LOVE your avatar. I remember making posters back in high school that said, "Join the DARK SIDE: We have cookies!"
