Harry Potter was caught at the scene of Mrs. Norris' petrification because
A) He was running late because Snape made him clean up all of the cauldrons as punishment
B) He had to stay in detention with Lockhart that night
C) He was at Nick's deathsday party
D) He was in the girl's bathroom discussing ways to get the ingredients for the polyjuice potion

It's not like it takes more than a minute to find the answer in the book. This isn't a very good test.

Movie, you mean.
In the movie it was because Harry was in detention. In the book it was because the trio was at the Deathday Party when Harry heard the parseltongue.
This question was too easy.

mmhhmm... it was actually a tricky question... Speed Ki11er knew what he was doing when he gave those as two of the options.
This is the CoS movie section, so answer B is correct.

This is the CoS movie section. If this was the CoS book secton, then the answer would be C.
But since this is the movie section, the correct asnwer is

The basilisk didnt kill voldy when it looked him in the eyes why?
A) Voldy is a memory
B) It closed its eyes when it looked at him
C) I dont know a mistake the producers made
Why can't harry tell the basilisk not to attack
A)Harry is not slytherins blood
B)He didnt try
C)Voldy told him it wouldnt work
Anyways my english teach wants to borrow my harry potter and the deathly hallows book should i lend her it?

the question itself is too vague. At what point in the movie is the questioner talking about? When Tom Riddle originally opened the chamber or when Tom Riddle was in the Chamber with Harry? This question is posted up in the movie section.. so I will assume the questioner was speaking of when Tom Riddle's memory was in the Chamber with Harry. In which case, the answer is most likely A.
Why can't harry tell the basilisk not to attack
A)Harry is not slytherins blood

A...B..C...D...E) A)
Tom Riddle did tell Harry that the basilisk would not listen to Harry... but that is only because Tom, not Harry, is the Slytherin's heir.
It can be argued that the correct answer is
D) none of the above or E) all of the above. Because Tom Riddle's memory (soul) was controlling the basilisk... and Harry, having a piece of Tom Riddle's soul inside of him should be able to control the snake, as well.
B) or C)... Harry didn't even try to talk to the snake... but perhaps he didn't try because Tom told him it was futile. I think what it comes down to, is that Harry only had the ability to speak parseltongue because of the bit of soul stuck in him. He is not the heir of Slytherin, and therefore could not control Slytherin's creature, right? Maybe not...
The reason why Salazar chose a type of snake was because he knew that most likely only his heir would be able to communicate with the basilisk. He didn't take into account that his heir would accidently land a bit of his soul (and the ability to speak parseltongue) into the head of a true Gryffindor. So it also begs the question... does the ability to control Slytherin's creature land only on the factthat he or she is the heir... or is it the fact that the heir would be able to (presumably) speak parseltongue.
