I think that they will get back together, mainly because Ginny loves him and won't let him go easily. She's loved him since she was a first year! She'll follow him even when he wants nothing to do with her (to protect her, of course). And I agree that JKR just wants something happy to finally happen to Harry!

Seriously its a really bad message. If you mope and dream about one person for 6 years, they'll date you and live happily ever after. Infatuation and first crushes don't work like that. OK a crush is normal, but its gone in 2 months!!
A 6 year crush is scarey. She needs to drop this "harry" obsession, and I don't mean to be horrible, but if one of my friends had had a crush for 6 years, I'd be booking her an appointment with the doctor!!

It wasn't a 6 year obsession. She moved on- she didn't have a crush on him the whole time. I think it was on and off. Hasn't every girl had a crush on a guy, on and off, depending on your mood? I know I have. She 'liked' him the whole time. It was when Harry came to Ginny that she realized she still really liked him.
Wasn't it Hermione that told Harry that she didn't fully give up on him? That she only moved on because she realized she had no chance?

I'm biased. But I don't see that *attraction* between them. Harry suddenly fancies Ginny after the Draco/Train carriage incident when Pansy says "all the boys fancy Ginny".
It's like a competition. The other boys fancy Ginny, so suddenly Harry does. ummh.
Oh, yeah, have you read CreamTeas Essay on the lovepotions??

I really think Ginny/Harry was a good fit. In other words, yes, they worked well together. ANd no, it was a g e s after the train incident that harry realized he liked ginny.

| I'm sorry if I'm in the minority here but I never was a fan of the Harry/Ginny relationship, so I hope they don't get back together. It just didn't seem very realistic to me, sorry. |

Glad to hear it. I'm not a fan of Harry/Ginny either.
Harry even *forgot* that Ginny had been possessed by LV. So much for her being his object of desire.
Harry *never* discussed this possession incident, even in passing, sort of "how are you after it". Ummh.
If you fancied someone, wouldn't you use an angle like that to get to talk to them???
