If you haven't read the Half-Blood Prince (shame on you!), then I suggest you leave now.
The pairing I'd like to discuss is Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks. Now, assuming they'll get together, which I'm betting they will, and they have children, what type of traits will their children inherit? Would their daughter/son automatically be a werewolf? Or does that not pass on from generation to generation?
I really love this ship! I really hope they get together too! Im not quite sure how the whole werewolf things works but hopefully their kids wont have to go through the painful ordeal of being a werewolf. I think J.K wont let that happen! *Hopefully* _________________
If Tonks and Remus have kids it will be a normal kid it might have wolfish qualitys or personality but not a werewolf _________________ I'm Captain Wood Quiditch Rules!!!!
in other werewolf books I've read (Bitten, Stolen) the werewolf gene passes from father to son. So female werewolves are only made through bites. so maybe a 50/50 shot?
Nice couple. Dunno about the children. I think they won't be like remus but have some sort of werewolf habits. _________________ Never miss a good chance to shut up!

Regulus's full name -
Regulus Arcturus Black
Could be R.A.B
Yes, i think i agree. I think the kid would not be werewolves because although the gene for worewolf is in my opinion dominant, it might be incompletly dominant making the children a sort of human but with a lot of doggy habits - hehehe excuse the pun. No i definetly think they would have to be bitten to be warewolves _________________ "WAR IS PEACE

I think there may be a few wolf-like characteristics, but I certainly don't think the child will be a full werewolf like Remus. Because Tonks isn't a werewolf, and as I very much doubt Remus will be transformed when the child is concieved (don't even want to think about that!) then that should lessen the effect even less.
i think the children might have some wolfish characteristics. _________________ *Potter_Crazy*

"Yes," said Harry stiffly.
"Yes, sir."
"There's no need to call me 'sir,' Professor."
I think the risk is like any other genetic disease risk. I think there's a chance that the child/children could be a werewolf(s), but that they won't necessarily. And then, one child might be, while another isn't. _________________ I have no words of wisdom to put here, so I figured I'd just fill it with junk.

But that begs the question - is Remus really 50% wolf? I mean, he only changes once a month, so that's 3 days out of 28. So does that mean that he's only about 10.7% wolf? Because then the children would have a MUCH smaller chance at being werewolf. _________________ I have no words of wisdom to put here, so I figured I'd just fill it with junk.

i think that the kid might have some wolfish characteristics but not a full werewolf. it could be similiar to bills case where greyback bit him when he wasnt a werewolf _________________
I agree, if remus is 50% human, 50% wolf and Tops is 100% human. Is they would have kids the chances of those being a werewolf would be...
______Human___Human
Wolf____+ ______+
Human __- ______ -
... 50%
actually if you make a punnet square, sorry I'm good in biology, they have only a very small chance of being werewolves, because human will be dominant and werewolf recessive. _________________ The 2 peole in this picture are Harry and Ginny
