You need to read it.
The movie alone doesnt give you any of the important informatoin
You wont be able to grasp the concept of it unless you read the book
Its way different so it wont be boring for you at all.

OotP is in my opinion the best book you should so read it....
it's amazing!

But you might want to read the 4th (goblet of Fire) before you jump to the OotP

Yea, you can not just see a movie and skip that book. The movies do no justice to the books and leave soo much out.

OHMYGOD..

You must be barking mad not to read the books,

you know they leave the things we need out of it..

If you dont read the book, theres no point you seeing the movies

Should you? Do you want to?
The books are much better than the movies. I mean, the movies aren't awful, but the books are fantastic.

First of all I think you should read Goblet of Fire, then you can read Order of the Phoenix.

I completely agree! Definitely read the books in order, or you might get confused and miss something! As for the movies, they're really good and cover the basis of the books, but they are hardly as in-depth as the books! To enjoy Order of the Phoenix, you need to read it! Very Happy
