In CoS, when Harry is in Tom Riddle's diary (snickers at him for having a diary). Anyway, it is revealed that Dumbledore is NOT the headmaster at this time, so if I'm not mistaken, what is it that he taught? I'm very interested in this question now that I thought about it. _________________

Transfiguration. Tom Riddle says it later on in the Chamber, about how the transfiguration professor never trusted him. _________________

Hmm. I think Dumbledore would have been a much better DADA teacher, but I guess he taught Transfiguration for a reason. _________________

I'm sure though, that Dumbledore was much more qualified.
Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if he was the Herbology teacher, it seems like that man knows everything about anything. _________________

Maybe DD didn't want to teach DADA. Maybe he wanted to be as far away from it as possible, especially after what happened to Arianna. _________________

I tihnk that's why he like Magonagol so much!
She's danced with him, and she's secondary headmistress! _________________
