No. Draco isn't turning soft, murder is a hard thing to do. Well, not for Voldemort, but for a teenager.

Draco is finding out who is really is. Draco is a coward, he's funny, smart, flies well, but he's not really into killing people.

I can't say that the realisation that you're not evil, means that you're turning soft, it just you're not a really bad or wicked person.

Draco is very funny, and makes the Slytherins laugh.
Draco plays pranks on students, he teases and bullies, imitates people and is a good comic ie like the Twins.

Draco has arrogant manners, other than that, he'd be a top student, top Quidditch player, and a really popular student.

the sad part is it doesnt matter what Draco wants...his whole family have been death eaters and hes not brave enoguh to say no and be good...hes afraid of Voldemort and does not want to die so he will become a death eater...its not his choice...some how he is forced to be one and for that i feel sorry for him...in the 6th book he kept weeping to moaning murtle and was very kind to her...that shows he does have sensitivity and kindness...the only reason hes so mean to Harry is because ever since growing up his parents kept telling him how bad Harry was for ruining there Dark lords plans. so they are mortal enemies. Harry lead by Dumbledore and the order of the phoenix members and Malfoy lead by Voldemort and and the death eaters.

Narcissa has already betrayed LV by asking for Snapes help to protect Draco. Lucius is in prison, but he seems close to Draco, and won't like his only son being threatened with death. This may cause Lucius to reconsider his alligance with LV. I hope so.
Draco has started to realise that being a DE isn't really in his character.

Draco did offer Harry his friendship in the first book. But Harry turned it down. Draco isn't so bad. Harry hurt his pride.

I think thats false because Lucuous is a coward towards Voldemort so he will never betray him...if he does he knows that Voldemort will get his revenge by killing his entire family...so no Draco will be a death eater...and yes he did offer his friendship with Harry but not for the right reasons...he didnt do it because he wanted to be nice and friendly...he did it because he thought Harry was strong and the chosen one...not because he wanted to be nice

I think so because since he failed to kill Dumbledore I think he's scared of getting killed by Voldy. So I think maybe he'll go to the good side so he won't get killed kinda like Snape.

you guys are forgetting...Voldemort wont let him go to the good side! Voldemort will persoanlly kill him if he does! so if he stays he has a better chance of living than he does if he leaves

ummmh. LV's whole plan in using Draco, was to get Draco murdered, he'd didn't really expect Draco to succeed. LV doesn't want Draco in his *gang*.

LV won't allow ex DE's to live, so now it's make or break time. Lucius, Draco and Snape are all under fire. Once they realised that LV has betrayed them via threatening their lives, we might see them betray him in whatever subtle way they can, whilst staying alive.

The number of DE's willing to betray LV is growing, and if LV isn't careful, he won't have any minions left!
LV does use fear to control his *gang*, but that hasn't stopped Snape, but it has controlled Lucius - so far.

My point - fear can only do so much. There's now real resentment amongst DE's. They can strike back at LV more dangerously than the Order, because they know his inside secrets. LV has been foolish to breed resentment.
