Confirmed: HBP movie release date

Box Office Mojo is reporting that the sixth film, Harry Potter and Half-Blood Prince, is set to be released on November 21st, 2008. WB has confirmed to us that this is indeed the actual release date. Let the countdown begin!

Steve Kloves will return to write the screenplay for HBP. A director has yet to be chosen. The fifth film, Order of the Phoenix, will hit theaters July 13th, 2007.

That's great news! Awesome...now I just can't wait for HBP!!! The suspense is killing me...and OoTP to be released 13th of July next year. Not so bad and I can wait...it's going to be good I know it! I am still wondering though who they will get to direct HBP. I am just hoping it's not M. Night....because no offense but his movies have gotten worse. But, man his is great news!! Very Happy

Just over six months for HP5 and that seems like forever!
I am glad that a release date has been made for HP6, though; hopefully they stick with it.

there is a director. i seen him in the makings video. omg whats his name i forgot. but hes a big fellow. he said he was glad to be doing this film blah blah. the point is....i rather him then the director of ether film 3 or 4.
