in chapter 16: A Very Frosty Christmas, Ron mentions that Fred and George once tried to make him take an Unbreakable Vow. The book never tells what the subject of the vow was, but what do you think they were making him vow to do??

^Happy 500th!

It was probably something really dumb, like, "I vow to obey Fred and George and do whatever they say forever."

lol an interesting perspective... it's Fred and George being Fred and George I guess. They probably were trying to make Ron do a vow for some dumb reason, because that's the goofy and wily characteristics of the twins.

I agree with most of the above... it was probably something silly that had to do with allegiance to Fred and George.

It was something like 'I vow to chicken dance for the rest of my life."
That would be funny, if he did make it.

Well being that it was Fred and George wanting Ron to make an unbreakable vow, it must have been that they wanted to test something on Ron and they didn't want Ron to tell anyone about it so they wouldn't get in trouble.

So in what context is this mentioned in the book...I mean what is being discussed right before Ron tells this tidbit. That may be a clue...
