I couldn't decide, but in the end, here's the order. Number 1 is who I voted for.
5) Snape
4) Dobby
3) Fred
2) (is this even on the list?) Hedwig
1) SIRIUS!!!!!!!!!
I cried, reread it, cried again, watched the movie, and was in too much shook to cry. The tears came 10 minutes after I left the theatre...
(Yes, I was in shook for the rest of the movie) _________________
Dobby, he was the best house elf ever
And Fred :\ His death was totally random.
When I was reading that part I was litterally like, "WHAT THE HELL?!%@" _________________
I think Dobby, because they made a big thing about it and explained how he died, so it made me feel sad, but the one i didn't want to die least was probably Remus and Tonks, Remus was one of my favourite characters and Tonks jusst had Teddy. _________________ Animagus:Troll (LoL!)
I voted for Dumbledore because he was always there for Harry from the beginning when he was a baby and made sure that Harry would be protected and then when he came to Hogwarts he was like a grandfather to Harry and I think Harry subconciously felt from the beginning when he realized that he and Voldemort would end up having to face each other as long as dumblefore was with him he was ok.....and then when dumbledore died it was like his last hint of family died out........
I did have a hard time choosing because the deat of sirius and dobby were particularly sad moments for me as well.
I voted fred becuase his death is so detailed you practicly relive it every time you hear his name. _________________

Snape was sad because he was a blessing in disguise.
That's the best definition for Snape I've ever read Snape is my #1 favorite character, but I saw his death more as a redemption and a release from his pain.
Dobby is another of my favorites, but we actually get to see everyone mourn over him, and we get to see his burial. That was healing to me as a reader, in a way.
So I voted for Fred. The twins seemed invincible. I took for granted the twins (my *other* favorite characters) would both live, and I was wrong. Fred's death was soooooo sad, and I feel awful for his surviving twin. And we never get to see anyone grieve over him. _________________ Umbridge + Cruciatus = bliss
i was sooooo sad when dobby died. i had tears rolling down my face
but i didn't actually start to full on cry, until fred died.
i always loved the twins, the way they always brought hope and happiness into any cituation.
i get emotional just thinking about it . tear. tear . _________________
I voted for Sirius because he was the only living "family" that cared for him he had. Although I think deep down Petunia had to care somewhat for Harry although she obviously resented having to care for him.
However, the death that really took me back was Hedwig. That poor little Owl. She had been told that she would be able to fly around once they got away.
I voted for Remus Lupin. He was the one that really cared for and helped Harry with good advice and training. He was also somewhat young, just married, and a new father! I cried when Harry apologized to him for his death.
Granted, Dumbledore cared for him and helped him a lot, but he was old and new/planned his death! Granted, Sirius loved Harry, but he was a little rash. I was devastated when they both died too. But Lupin... I just can't justify his death! Besides, the other two didn't really die in DH...
Tonk's death was sad as well, but she wasn't as developed a character.
... Hey, ALL the deaths were sad!
But *ahem* I voted for Lupin. _________________ "I have heaps of brains. Yes. But it's such hard work to use them." Anne of the Island, by L.M. Montgomery
