1 goes into detail about most everything. it doesnt really deviate from the book info like 5 does which i would pick 2nd.

I chose the first one.
I think it gives more information,
just because it's the first one of the series.

Thats cool but I have a serious problem w/ the 5th movie don't you? I mean it doesn't explain the details that become so important in the 7th book, really they left about half of that book out except that book is the longest in the series, so i can see cutting out some stuff, but you didn't even know who Tonks was!!!!!

Sometimes it's hard to say, because I have read the books, so I can't really tell how it would be for someone who hasn't.

But, I'd say the 4th film is the most informative/true to the book, as there isn't too much going on, apart from the Triwizard competition and the Voldemort bit at the end. And these parts are shown really well in the film.

I would have to say the first one.. But really noone went by how the books are.. but that's normal for movies..

anyway I think the first one gets my vote.

I voted the first one just because I think it left out the least of any of the movies. The first movie stayed fairly true to the book and I think you should have been able to follow it even if you hadn't read it yet. Some of the other movies may have lost people who hadn't already read it. I think they left out to much. And others left out scenes I really liked, like in CoS where they didn't have the death day party. Even if it wasn't essential I still don't see why they had to leave it out.
