OK.... if you havn't read the new book... dont look any further

***SPOILERS AHEAD!!!*****

Remember the shot in the movie where the trio walks into Hogs Head right before they meet to form the DA?

Theres an old man there... and behind him, walks a goat.

I always thought this was just kinda funny... but think about it....

Aberforth's patronus was a goat....

well done Director and JKR!!!

not to mention the whole issue of aberforth having a run-in with the law for getting a little too "friendly" with the goats. Wink
i can't remember if that was first addressed in the 5th or 6th book.

sorry, guess you missunderstood me

I wasn't saying that JKR got the idea for his patronus as a goat from the movie.... I just thought it was neat of the filmmakers to put in little things like that, for us fans of the book.

for a regular movie goer, its just an old man with a pet goat... but for us its an extra laugh knowing the meaning behind it.

oh, and I really hope that all he did was some simple spells on the goats...

haha, I thought I was the only one who caught that goat thing! I thought that part was the best! A little treat for us bookreaders.

Yes, I noticed this also when I went to watch the movie. I remember grinning with delight when I saw it because I knew something most others at the theater didn't.

Yay people who read book 7!
