I would liked if voldy got sick of her advances an killed her.
she would have been so devastated that the one the loved and idolized killed her. It would have been a good end to her _________________ Karl Stevanovic is a robot!
at the time i would of liked neville to kill bellatrix. but as soon as she went for ginny and said to mrs weasley 'when mummy ends up like Freddie" i wanted her gone right then and there. and now i cant think of anyone better then mrs weasley to have killed her. _________________ .love.peace.and.something.else.
I think mrs weasly was a good choice also, and I got the impression that Bellatrix may have killed Fred herself, the way she taunted Molly.
Oh wait a second never mind....just remembered....
But it would have been great for Neville to have killed her, after what she did to his parents. I mean, he got to kill Nagini, Voldemort's last horcrux (other than Harry himself) but still, that would have been like avenging his parents, cause what they got was, in my opnion, worse than death.

I get why it would have been wonderful for Neville to avenge his parents but in reality he just wasn't powerful enough (IMO) to defeat Bella, she was, afterall, a great witch. I felt that aslong as he would have made his parents proud and lived up to his name then that was enough. _________________
Molly was a great choice. People expected it to be Neville or Tonks. That would have been predictable, and then some people might have complained that JK was being well... predictable. Molly was unexpected and definitly had her reasons.
And there is no doubt she is dead.. didn't she end up exploding as a result of the spell that Molly used on her? _________________ House: Gryffindor

Wow... Voldemort killing Belatrix... that could be something. Unexpected and totally not Cliche.
Like, Belatrix could have made a move on him, (Hehe.) then Voldemort doesn't know what to do, seeing as he has never understood love. So, he backs away, sort of worried, like, then Voldemort aims for her...
Ooooh!
But Tonks kills her! Belatrix's last words are "I love you" To Voldemort, then voldemort backs away tonks has seen the scene, and voila, Tonks kills Belatrix.
This is before the Ginny/Molly/Belatrix fight... so Ginny wouldn't die! _________________

I was so sad when she died, I actually had to read it over. After I had accepted it, I was so angry with Molly Weasley. I saw red I think! It would have been cool if she died trying to protect Voldemort though...a nice twist in my opinion. _________________

Neville should have done it, though. He should have tortured her into insanity first, too. Bella should have been looking into Neville's eyes when she died. She should have been forced to feel remorse.
Bella has caused Neville's family so much pain and suffering, she should have felt it too directly from Neville.
Neville might have developed a ferocity, but I don't think he was a killer (well, of humans). Even a justified killer. Nor were his parents killed. From a character balance standpoint of giving as many of them their moment in the sun in the finale, Neville got a good one already with killing Nagini.
Harry had every reason to do it, if for Sirius alone, but he already accomplishes more than reasonable could be expected of anyone, so no need to gild the lily.
Molly was always the maternal support character Harry otherwise lacked. She illustrated the difference between Ron with the big family, and Harry's relative isolation. But she never had her moment in the sun combat wise. Her son lay dead, and here was the Evil Bitch going after her daughter. "Take THAT! And THAT! And some of THIS! You feeling my love, you sadistic $#@%?" (imagine Mel Gibson with a wand instead of a hatchet in The Patriot). You go girl!
The power of love combined with fear, fused with maternal insticts to protect at all costs. Much more powerful than simple revenge.
This is what JKR had to say about Molly killing Bellatrix....
Quote:
How did you decide that Molly Weasley would be the one to finish off Bellatrix?
I always knew Molly was going to finish her off. I think there was some speculation that Neville would do it, because Neville obviously has a particular reason to hate Bellatrix. ..So there were lots of optios for Blelatrix, but I never deviated. I wanted it to be Molly, and I wanted it to be Molly for two reasons.
The first reason was I always saw Molly as a very good witch but someone whose light is necessarily hidden under a bushel, because she isn't in the kitchen a lot and she has had to raise, among others, and george which is like, enough... I wanted Molly to have her moment and to show that because a woman had dedicated herself to her family does not mean that she doesn't have a lot of other talents.
Second reason: It was the meeting of two kinds of - if you call what Bellatrix feels for Voldemort love, I guess we'll call it love, she has a kind of obsession with him, it's a very sick obsession ... and I wanted to match that kind of obsession with maternal love... the power that you give someone by loving them. So Molly was really an amazing exemplar of maternal love. ... There was something very satisfying about putting those two women together.
Of course Neville had unfinished business with Bellatrix... but so did Harry. And Neville's grandmother, and about every single person in that room. Not to mention people that weren't there, like Andromeda. Not everyone can kill her... or they could and it would be like a Caesar killing. _________________ ^made by Fiendfyre
I don't know, I loved seeing Mrs. Weasley do it, but I don't know...Neville would have been cool to. It's a tough decision. _________________

i go with Molly... cos its so out of character for her. i dunno i jus agree with JKR. Bella had to die and Molly had to do it... _________________
