Freds hand down! he shouldn't have died, espeacially not the way he did! she should have killed percy!

Dobby, he was a totally surpise. I didn't think he would die like that, but he died with honor and i'm glad that he got a good burial.

I'm sort of mad JK killed Remus and tonks without giving a single hint as to how they died. that P-ed my off alittle.

Severus's I knew that was coming, but I was sort of sad after reading through his memories.

Crabs death was great and thats what the idiot gets. But Incendio was right no gave a rat's a** about him dieing. lol

Fred's death was a bit unexpecting. I would have thought if one of the twins died both of them should have.

Dobby still was the worst for me though.

The only death I knew about ahead of time was Dumbledore. I had purposely avoided all HP things online, so I had no other spoilers at all.

So......my answer was Fred. Undoubtedly Fred.

He and his twin were among my all-time favorites. He and George seemed untouchable...invincible, even, in their arrogant, hilarious, defiant attitude.

But they weren't.

And yet, while we see a scene of everyone mourning over Dobby (one of my other all-time favorites), we never get to see that for Fred. Even as Harry walked to the woods for the last time, I was STILL not over Fred.

I absolutely adored Lupin...but had NO respect left for him after his attempt to ditch Tonks. NONE at all, so I wasn't too bothered by his death at all. And now his son is an orphan...the two of them were selfish and it angered me more than anything!!!

Moody was played by an imposter most of the time, so i really never got attached to him.

Peter was disgusting, and Hedwig, while adorable, just didn't hit me very hard.

If Fred were not on here, I'd definitely vote for Snape...even though I think his life was just full of too much unrequited love, abuse, and mistakes for anything else than the noble end he got, and his death might have put Snape out of a lot of misery, it was still heartbreaking. Snape was my #1 favorite, aside of the twins.

I really didn't want Lupin to die (especially after he and Tonks had a baby), he was my favourite character, other than maybe one or two, but after that comes either Hedwig or Fred, Hedwig seemed just too innocent to die Crying

Snape, he was my favorite character Crying

I also didn't like Hedwig's death. It was extremely sudden...I just read past it and was like...what?!

dobby's death was a major blow for me, i couldn't help but remember all the things dobby did for harry, and just how sweet and innocent he was. But i voted for fred's death cause the weasley twins have always been one of my fav characters, and fred and george brought so much happiness into a world filled with fear. I started to full on cry at freds death and i didn't stop till 19 yrs later.

Spoiler:

Lupin. He was forced to live a pretty tortured life for a very long time, and he had finally found a bit of happiness in Tonks and his child, and with the defeat of Voldemort, it looked like he could have been able to finally find some peace. For him to die on the eve of that new age for the wizarding world was so sad.

Spoiler:

How come Bella isn't on there!!!!???? I cried when she died and threw the book! But then I was ashamed of myself and went to get it. Rolling Eyes But yeah. And I was sad at Snape's too but not as much. Other deaths made me feel bad but I didn't cry or anything like that.

As for hedwig, a mugglecast quote sums it up (after they said "and now, a moment of silence for Hedwig):

"Its a bird."

I can't believe most people think Dobby's death was such an impact. I can see all of the other characters dieing but Fred ? I dunno...That was a heart breaker for me.

Lupin.

Yes, people will be like "WTF LUPIN?", while his death wasn't as sad as Fred or Dumbledore's, it impacted me the most. Mainly because he was the last Maraurder. I'm not including Wormtail in this because we all hate him but,

James had died, and he was Harry's dad. (Yes, common knowledge.)
Sirius had died, and he was James' best friend and Harry's godfather. (Yes, more common knowledge)
With Lupin dead, James' last best friend had died and he was a mentor to Harry for sure. He was the last of the four, and to me it just made me realize that the end truly is near.

Don't you think Wormtail redeemed himself in the end ?

In a way, but I still consider him a traitor and wasn't the type of person that Lupin, James, and Sirius were.

He repaid somewhat of his debt but not willingly so he's in no way redeemed.
