^ They don't have to do anything! They just choose to because of money. Money dictates the special effects, the marketing, the editing, the length. Everything.

i would be happy up to four hours but once it goes over i my butt would hurt too much to even care about the movie... i mean the movies are good but not epic like lord of the rings... which even if they were ten hours long id still sit through it all.

I agree with the butt-hurting-dilemma, so I go for three hours tops.

No one (I dont mean that literally) would go and see it if it were 5 hours. I think 3 hours would be good. Or if it were split into two 2 hour movies.

^ Screw what the vast majority wants, HP fans want it long (mostly) or split or with an intermission and that's what we should get considering we're the reason the books became so famous and gave WB such a high profitting film.

^^ I completely agree! I know that a lot of people wouldn't come to such a long movie, but personally I would rather they leave almost everything from the book in it as possible.

i would prefer it if they will do ala matrix (Reloaded and revolution). A two part film for the seventh HP to justify the book. I'm not in favor of 3-4 hours film. The viewer may not enjoy the film. its tiring guys when your watching a movie for 3-4 hours. U might not digest all the events in the film.

3-4 hours would be good. I wish that this entire series had gotten the LOTR treatment.

I thought that from the beginning. If the people wasnted to make the movie only 2 hrs, that was fine. but only if everything else was added in, like in lord of the rings. It turns into a 4 hr. movie with all the "special" features. just something to mull over.

I don't mind it being as long as they need to make it. I loved Deathly Hallows. As the last film, they should make it longer than the rest because of the importance of everything in it, and if it's over three hours, I don't think very many people will complain as long as nothing important is cut out.

I want them to make it go on exactly the same as the book no details left out. Smile I would watch it if it went for a whole day if i had to.

oh come on. you gotta be realistic. a 2-3 hour film should do. i think 2 hours and 45 minutes is good enough. i wouldnt want it to be as long as LOTR. nor do i think should it be as short as 2 hours.

Think they should make it like a grand fanaly to end one of the most epic series ever. It should be like two diskes and like Five hours. I would not mind sitting in a theater that long. Or holding back the fire hidrant for that matter.
