Do you think Ariana, Dumbledore's sister, was a Squib or not? I think she wasn't because she performed magic before the muggles got her. She was just in a kind of magical outburst so it would burst out of her sometimes

it was a powerful outburst of magic that killed kendra wasn't it? she wasn't a squib...she just kept her magic supressed but she couldn't keep it under control all of the time.

Ariana was not a squib. Jo made that perfectly clear. If you think that Ariana was a squib, then you did not thoroughly read DH.

Exactly, at first everyone thought she was a squib, but after we realised that she performed magic.
So, she can't have been a squib, as they can't do magic.

No, Arianna Dumbledore was not a Squib, as we were lead to believe during the majority of the book. As it was written, Arianna had performed pre-controlled magic at the age of six, where it was said that most children started to gain magical use.

The only thing about Arianna was that she was unable to control her sudden bursts of magic because magic, in truth, is controlled by waves of emotion. Therefore because her emotions were so sensitive and strong she was unable to gain full control and was dead before she could learn to.

I thought they thought she was a squib at first, but then later realized she could perform magic. I'm not 100% sure, but that's what I thought.
