Really? No way. That would be awesome. Still, for some odd reason, I can't really imagine Hugh Laurie as the Minister of Magic. I also heard that Bill Nighy (Davy Jones in Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3) is supposed to have a part.

as much as I'd love to see Hugh Laurie in HP, I think he'd be totally wrong for the part of Scrimgeour. hmmm who else could he play though...

Laurie would be a great choice!

its called contacts. lol but considering that danielle radcliffe has blue eyes while harry has green ones, but he doesnt have to wear contacts, probably means that they will not care whether or not he has yellowish eyes

If you mean Hugh Laurie, then be surprised. Hugh Laurie is in fact British, and his American accent is fake, it's just for House. When I first found this out, I was blown away, his American accent is PERFECT. But, he is British and therefore, has the British accent.

It surely would be awesome. I, too, can't really imagine Hugh Laurie speaking in an British accent. It still baffles me that he's a British actor playing an American doctor in House. I really hope he's part of the HP series. That would be awesome.

Ok he can't wear the contacts because they infect his eyes.
So it doesn't mean they don't or won't do it with the others.
hhmmm he wouldn't be as I pictured Scrimgeour, but he would do a pretty good job of it.
He was really funny in Black Adder.

| I dunno. He's not how I pictured Scrimgeour at all either. I suppose with the British accent and some costumes he'd fit though. Also- House is a great show. |

He'd easily pull it off, he's really adaptable.. I love him in Stuart Little.
I've given up hoping for them to cast actors who are exactly how I percieved the characters when reading 'cause I love the casting regardless.
Like Helena Bonham Carter as Bellatrix Lestrange.. awesome!
