I think her doing it then would have amused Dumbledore had he been alive. It lightened the mood and something good came of that whole situation.
and just in general...JK knows these characters a lot better than you do, seeing how she created them. so if she says they're compatible...they're compatible. _________________
Umm.. well you could be right about Dumbledore being amused. I personally felt it was highly disrespectful (I think Remus did too, considering his comment at the time).
JKR hasn't yet told us that these two are compatible. That is going to likely be revealed in book 7. The last thing we saw was the two of them holding hands at the funeral and Tonks hair was bright pink. That would lead one to believe they had worked something out to Tonk's satisfaction. But until they actually tie the knot, those of us who don't like the relationship can continue to hope....
yeah that broke my heart, they finally got together and then they were killed. and their deaths werent even showed as a big deal which annoyed my it woz just like oh yeah btw remus and nymphadora r dead. SO SAD!!!!!!!!! RIP

i was devastated the way she just through aside lupin and tonks and u dont even kno how they died..... and i do think they are an awesome couple. and that wickedboy person needs to get off his high horse and not make such a big deal out of it. they are not the worst couple ever, the are the BEST COUPLE EVER

he was only going to leave her because he thought she would be much better off without him. he thought he was making her an outcast with her family and the whole wizarding world because she had married a werewolf
and lupin also thought his child would be ashamed of him and he worried about whether his kid would turn out to be a werewolf just like him
he thought he was doing the right thing

Too bad for their son though, I felt so terrible once I had read that they had died. But I was glad they mentioned him in the Epp, Harry must of felt like he had great responsibility for him since he himself had lost his parents once, and knew what it felt like.
Yes, I think they are a great couple. Before they died, I thought they couldn't possibly die because of there son, but after they died, I thought that was better than having them live because then Harry wouldn't be the only one with dead parents and a reckless godfather.
Iīm Remus/Sirius shipper, so I canīt like Tonks/Remus relationship. Nevertheless, I like Tonks, and I donīt think the age question was an important one because theyīre both adults...
