Claire crawled, literally crawled, into Potions Class. Snape didn't notice, as he had been screwing around with another kid and taunting him about his potion. She reached her seat in the back of the room and slid onto it, unnoticed by Snape -- much to her relief. She noticed that everyone was taking notes. She almost screamed, but contained herself. Claire grabbed a quill and scratched down the instructions and notes on her potion quickly. She paused for a second and looked down at her work. Definitely not her neatest.

Lilith ignored Ethan. She was too busy thinking about her dad and Dumbledore. She really was ashamed og herself. And that was a big first for Lilith Black.
She walked back into the classroom, muttered a quick apology at Snape and sat at her desk.

Claire flushed, and looked at Snape, a look of purest detestation across her face. Not that he had noticed her arrival; she was perfectly safe.

"She wasn't late, sir -- remember? She went to the bathroom... she just came back." Claire said, hoping Lilith wouldn't get in trouble, when she had been in the lesson before and Snape himself had given her permission to leave. Being 'rude' had landed her in detention with Snape.

Claire shrugged as Snape turned towards the board. She gave Lilith a look as if to say, Snape is so unfair!, which was perfectly true. Lilith hadn't even been late. Claire could see why she herself had been punished, but Snape was just being unreasonable now. She shrugged once more and her quill resumed scratching across her parchment.
