If I went to Hogwarts I would probably be screaming all manner of profanity at him on a regular basis...

Peeves has his ups and downs! I mean, I hated him for alot of the parts, because he's not like a bully, he just keeps at it, and never quits, but when he does it against the right people [umbridge] then I' m all for peeves!

After Fred and George told him to give Umbridge hell and he bowed to them, I was like, dang, what a BAMF. Sneaking around would be hard with him around, but I'd have no problem with him overall. He never did anything really bad, he just dropped some stuff on people. It won't kill you, and it's one of those things you can laugh about as long as it happens to someone else.

well there are different theories

they tend to appear when a child is pre teens to teen and feeds off of the negative energy that the child emits.

another theory is it isnt a ghost or entity but psychic energy causing items to move etc.

some people think it could be a demon or hank (mischevious ghost) who likes to play games with the living.

but i think rowling is going for the third one not so much a demon but more like an imp or trick playing ghost.

I liked Peeves the most when he listened to Fred and George. That was the first time he actually listened to somebody else, and it was cool that he did.

Peeves is the kind of thing it's hilarious to have someone else deal with, but would be a huge pain to actually have to live with. But I love reading about Peeves in the earlier books, he's hilarious. Laughing

ohh peeves I can't say I love him I can't say I hate him, hes one of those characters that you can't make ur mind about, but that Umbridge thing was hilarious, gotta love him for that!!

He would have been annoying, but he would have kept life interesting too. I mean life just gets a little to....predictable sometimes. If Peeves were around that would never happen ^_^

the funniest peeves moment was where he jammed a door after apparating lessons and said he wouldnt open it until someone lit their pants on fire...and afterward it mentions neville looking for new pants... with the smell of burnt cloth permeating... Very Happy
