^^^ What? Planned his death? I will have to disagree with that. Sure, Harry will have to be the one that defeats and ends Voldy, but Dumbledore would have wanted to help harry, anyway he could have. Imo, death is not helping.

yes he had a will. He was grave danger looking for the Horcrux so he must have made a will at some point. I know you all will be nagry but i think the Pensive will so to Harry or Snape, he did lend him it before.

DD's brother is alive. He is working in Hog's Head. In book 6 it siad that Mundungus wa showing the barman from hog's head something. Harry recognised him. No where it said that the old Barman died. Just one thing though. Is it comfirmed that Aberforth is good. Just because he's DD's brother doesn't mean he has to be good. Form what i understand the Hog's Head is where dodgy foalks hang out. But I think he is good. I imagine a job would be hard to come by after spending time in Azcaban ( arrested for performing illigal magic on a goat).

The bird will go to Harry. The thing can swallow the killing curse.

I don't know why you all think that McGonagall will get so many things. The book never suggested that he had any special feelings for her. If he did surely Voldermort would take advantage of it.

As for the sword. The book never said that the sword belonged to DD so i don't think he can give it away. If he does include it in his will then you know what i'll be thinking... DD is the hier of Gryffindore.

Spoiler:

I am one of those people who believe that DD's death was planned so Snape wouldn't lose his cover as a Death Eater spy and so he wouldn't die because eof the Vow he took.

But he did plan his death. Or, rather, he knew he was going to die. Snape made the Unbreakable Vow. If he didn't go through with it, he'd have died. So DD used this to his advantage. He told Snape to kill him and escape with the other Death Eaters to keep his cover.
When DD says "Severus...please," he is asking Snape to kill him and not ruin everything. Think about it. Why would DD beg for his own life? He's too noble for that. By the way, I pulled all this info from other threads so I'm not guaranteeing anything.

I can agree with you, to a point. I still believe that DD wanted to help Harry in any way possible, so that in my eyes, means alive. I can agree that DD's death was planned, by DD himself, not in agreeance with Snape, at the very last moments of his life, but not well in advance.
