Ok. LOL Im so excited I just got back from watching the film and it was great. I think it is the best one so far (or maybe tied with POA) but i have to re-watch it just to be sure. The acting was great, and it was a very fast paced film.

I liked ( I liked it all but "the highlights")
-The Yule ball was awesome! I loved the part where Hermione screams at Ron about not asking her to the ball. Emma is very talented and I actually felt the angst of that situation. The dancing was really funny especially Harry LOL...and Neville! Oh Neville! Ron's toga provided a lot of comic relief!
-I loved when Hermione came into the ball and Harry looked at her. Just wow! (There were a lot of HR/H shippy moments so my delusional side of me is pretty content.
-Rita Skeeter was very funny LOL (annoying funny)
-Krum didn't talk that much LOL
-The scene in the bathroom with Myrtle. LOL You have to see that. First you have Dan "nude" trying to cover his parts with bubbles and Myrtle getting closer and closer. This was one of the funniest parts
-Mad Eye turning Malfoy into a ferret and the ferret getting into (was it goyle?) pants! Hilarious!
-Snape was very funny this time around.
-Lord Voldermort. Priceless. Ralph Fiennes is perfect! Bittersweet moment....
-Hagrid and his "girlfriend" LOL
-The pensive scene was great:)
-Mad Eye's class was good too but I was too anxious because of the whole "Neville watching the crucio spell performed"
-As always there is a lot of chemestry between Dan & Emma and many more Hr/H scenes (compared to R/H)
It was a very good movie. I thought Newell(sp?) couldn't do a good job and I've been proven wrong.

The only thing I disliked was the whole "Albus" turning violent on Harry after his name came out of the Goblet.

Feel free to discuss & ask me questions if you havent seen it yet and want it spoiled LOL. (Tomorrow is the U.S release)

Wow, it sounds brilliant!

Ive seen the ferret part, i downloaded it a while ago and it is very funny.

I cant wait to see the bathroom scene, that was one of my fav bits of the book.

Ive seen a little bit of DD being cross with Harry and i didnt like it either.

I might have to offer my brother £20 to babysit just so i can see it now Laughing

Looks like you enjoyed yourself. Was the Theater crowded? I was going to wait until the movie came out on DVD but now I’m having second thoughts.

I guess he was just telling us he was going to see it today and that he hadn’t read your review on it. Since there’s no point bumping the countdown thread he decided to post here instead.

This just in GOF has an average of 81 from a total of 37 reviews which included 3 full scores and the lowest score remaining 60.This ties with POA which also acquired a average of 81 from a total of 40 reviews which included a total of 5 full scores and its lowest score been 40.

This movie seems to just get better and better!

I also heard that it differs a little bit from the book and some major characters in the book play a very small role in the movie.

Also Dumbledore was not at all like his Text counterpart or so I have heard.

I was VERY dissapointed! They cut out so much!!
Spoiler:

Like they went from the part where Harry was in the Pensieve right to the Third Task. They didn't even have any obstacles in the third task! It was just the stupid freaking walls sucking them in!!!! I was very sad.

I still liked the movie though!

Yeah, some people are saying it’s the best out of the four while others say it is the worst.

Well, you cant put all of the book into a movie or the movie would probably be about 5 hours long lol I thought they did pretty good showing the most important parts of book and still keeping true to book for the most part.

Well, I for one would easily sit through the full movie even if it was 5 hours long. I'd need a bathroom break though. Laughing
I liked this movie much more than POA.

What part of the movie did you find the funniest? Laughing
Spoiler:

The scene where Moody turns Malfoy into a ferret.
I also found the bathtub scene with Myrtle quite hilarious.

What about you?

Spoiler:

I loved the part when they were picking dragons from the bag and Crouch goes " Chiense Fireball OOOO!!!" The loook on his face was priceless"

And

GOF grosses $36m on opening day
According to the Box Office Mojo, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire collected a staggering $36 million on its opening day, just two million behind POA.

Thats surprising...I thought it would beat POA is sales

What part did you find the scariest?
Spoiler:

I thought the whole cemetary scene was very scary. I did however jump several times when the Dragon was chasing Harry. The extended Dragon scene took me by surprise.

How about you?

Did you find you had teary eyes for any parts of the movie? If so which parts? ( I realize the guys aren't going to admit to any of this.)
Spoiler:

I found tears in my eyes when Harry brings Cedric's body back and is crying. I really empathized with Harry and all he had just gone through.

I guess empathy is a good thing to have if you're a nurse.

Spoiler:

I also thought the cemetry scene was creepy, I think they did a good job showing what Voldie looks like though. I didn't really cry, because I knew it was going to happen, it was still said though Sad
