Hi there everybody. Thought I would start of by introducing myself. I'm Tom Wein, a 1st year at King's College, London, where I'm reading War Studies (and no, that DOESNT make me a violent person. In fact, I will be forced to hurt anyone who suggests that it does).

Other than that, I fell in love with the Potter books when I first read HP and the Philosopher's Stone, back in 1998. To date, my now rather battered copy has been read 27 times, and I recently purchased the Stephen Fry Audiobook as well. Its virtually an old friend.

I have read all the other books several times over, obviously, though the first one remains my favourite, because it is so innocent; the big events are things like learning a new spell, rather than the dark battles of the later books. Thats not to say that I dont enjoy the later books; I just prefer this one.

Anyway, you see what happens as soon as I allow myself to start writing. This intro is more than long enough now. Hope to find some interesting discussions and to get to know you all.
