This is just for fun really, here are some bloopers from the film. Comment on them, point out your own errors or simply try and refute these. It's up to you...

1) At the beginning of the scene near the end of the film with Lucius Malfoy fuming at Dumbledore in his office, Malfoy's hair is fanned back behind his shoulders. The lighting in the room illuminates the back of his neck, where you can see his real, short brown hair.

2) When Lockhart falls down the hole into the Chamber of Secrets, we hear him hit the ground a second or two later. When Ron and Harry jump down, not only do they take longer to get down, they also slide down the pipe, rather than fall straight down.

3) When Harry is in Borgin & Burkes in Knockturn Alley, he approaches the glass dome with skulls sitting on the shelf and to the right is a large round mirror sitting atop a cabinet. When he walks away after freeing his hand from The Hand of Glory, in this wide shot there is now a very tall, ornate, wrought iron fixture behind him that stands beside the shelf, in front of the round mirror and cabinet, that was not in that previous shot.

4) When Harry arrives at the Weasley's we see the clock that shows where everyone is. We see the twins' and Ron's picture moving to show they're home, but no-one else's picture is in the same place. Shortly afterwards we see that everyone else is already home, except Mr. Weasley.

5) When Ron is on all fours beginning to cough up slugs, Harry says "Let's take him to Hagrid's". Hermione mouths the lines with him.

6) In the scene in the Weasley's house there is a magically spinning plate in the sink washing itself. In the shot where the boys are shown in front of the sink look carefully and you can see the axle the plate is spinning on.

7) In the shot where Dobby takes Harry's letters from his robe and tells him about why he hid them he is standing in front of the dresser, you can see that the drawers in the dresser are neatly closed (with the exception of the bottom one, which is only slightly open). However, in the next shot when Dobby runs out the door with Harry chasing after him you see the dresser again, and this time all the drawers are slightly open and uneven.

8 ) At the Dursley's, Harry and Dobby grapple with the lamp and as Harry says, "Give me the lamp.", it is clearly visible in the right window's reflection that only Harry's hands are on the lamp.

id like to see u remember a couple million lines for all the movies they're working on its alot easier to sit there and pick out imperfections isn't it though

I actually noticed quite a few of those myself, I thought that some of these errors would be corrected, because I actually thought that some of them were quite obvious, like the one with Lockhart falls down the hole like 3 times faster than Harry and Ron.

*Continuity: When Harry breaks his right arm playing Quidditch, he takes great care to keep it held up as he rolls from side to side to avoid the bludger, but at one point he puts his weight on it without any apparent discomfort. In the next shot he is holding it across his stomach again.

*Revealing mistakes: When Harry and Hagrid hug (when Hagrid has just returned from Azkaban), the flames in the bowls hanging on the wall behind them burn backward briefly.

*Revealing mistakes: During the Quidditch match, the wire that attaches the broom to Harry is visible for several seconds.

*Continuity: Ron receives the "Howler" from his mother. After his owl, Errol crashes into the table, you can see that the red envelope is open, as Ron removes it from Errol's mouth. We then see Ron breaking the seal on this envelope so he can read it.

*Continuity: When Harry and Ron's car is caught by the tree, a limb smashes a hole in the rear window but the hole is missing in one shot when the car tips forward while falling out of the tree.

*Continuity: When Prof. Lockhart is knocked backwards by Prof. Snape's charm during their duel, his wand can be seen flying through the air. When he lands, however, the wand is back in his hand.

*Revealing mistakes: When Crabbe and Goyle pluck the chocolate cupcakes out of mid-air, you can see the shadow of the string on Goyle's face.

Those were funny! I even put the dvd back in and went to the scenes where they messed up on. Bloopers are always fun...and I need to find some more!! Very Happy

what i did not like was when ron cursed malfoy, "eat slugs" and then the wand backfired. the book says that malfoy was laughing so hardly that he was on all fours, banging the ground with his fist. but in the movie he was not laughing that hard. its so unrealistic. i mean, id be laughing like that if my enemy tried to curse me that and his wand backfired.

nah i would watch a ten hour happy potter film if it was completely accurate and didnt miss anything out

Bloopers are funny.

And i've wondered about that line with the cupcakes...i didn't realise that it was a wire.

It's pretty funny now that i know what to look at.
