The Verge, I agree with you on everything. I really think the fans (us) need to let it be known that this will be the most important film to us. It has a chance to be the best.

We should spread the word. We have plenty of time to do so.

we should have let it known that it was the most important book, maybe if we all write j.k. we can get her to do it over and right this time. Cool

i feel that the movies will do the best that they can, but honestly the movies do not matter. they could stop now forcing everyone else to pick up a book and read.

Alternatively, you all could just NOT watch the movie, if you already think it is going to suck. You say the movies pretty much suck and ruin the story of the books, yet something compels you all to keep watching them. If it sucks, then it sucks. In the long run, you always have the books to fall back on, which you claim to like better anyway. =)

Just cut them some slack. We have no idea what will be cut until it happens. They can't keep EVERYTHING, and I personally wouldn't want them to. Watching 6 hours of Harry Potter at once would probably get very tedious. And that isn't cost efficient at all.

I think they should release it in two parts. We have steven king movies that are over 4 hours long, titanic takes two disks, why not? It's really the only way it will turn out decently.

They definitely will NOT cut out Dumbledore's part in the plot and his past, no, they'll bundle it up in a clever way.

^ You're thinking to highly of them, they've already shown a complete disregard for what JKR says is important, I don't expect much from the films.. I still think we should try and contact them in some way.. or contact JKR to contact them.

I think letting JK know how we feel would do more for us fans in the end. I don't think writing Warner Brothers or the producers/directors is a good idea anymore. Most likely wouldn't help.
