Wait, I think I know what all the significance of the Potters' professions are.
Aberforth Dumbledore (Albus' brother) will go to number 4 Privet Drive to discuss a few things with Harry. He'll tell Harry that Dumbledore left him Gryffindor's sword and, to everyone's surprise, Fawks. But Fawks won't go into Harry's posession until the will is read to him (explaining why he didn't go to Harry right away).
Aberforth will then take his penseive (that he inherited from his brother) and show Harry some memories that Dumbledore wrote to be shown to him in the will (apparently, Albinus has been doing this for a lot of people). I can think of three important memories:
1: Dumbledore explaining to the Potters the situation of Voldemort's serch for them. James concludes that he and his wife might die and asked Dumbledore to give his invisablity cloke to Harry. But the memory ends with James Potter saying, "And you might want to use it for your mission, Dumbledore."
2: Snape explaining what happened after the Potter's died, making Harry actually feel sorry for him (but only for a moment).
3: Snape saving Dumbledore from the curse on Voldemort's ring.
After this, Aberforth will explain that he thinks that Snape might have had some sort of secret agenda to distroy Voldemort. Harry, of course, doesn't believe him.
Aberforth gives up for the moment being, then points out that he thinks Voldemort made a horcrux. Seeing no point in hiding it from him, Harry explains about the four remaining horcruxes. When he mentions Slytherin's locket, Aberforth says that he thinks he bought it from Muddingus. They arrange to meet in Diagon Alley a few weeks later to distroy the horcrux. Aberforth also tries to convince Harry to go back to Hogwarts, so that he'll know everything he needs to to defeat Voldemort.
Lily Potter's job: Charmer for the Wizzard History Museum (that's why Voldemort didn't want to kill her). _________________

Heej that's a good theorie!!
So Voldemort didn't kill Lily because she might know something about lost artifacts and the could get that information by Legilimency... _________________ Nederlands!! |

How do you think of these theories? That is very thought out and I could definitely see it happening.... maybe with a few alterations though _________________

Well, I tried to come up with a reason Voldemort wouldn't kill Lily. I could only think of one reason: she knew where something was that he could turn into a horcrux. Since her profession will be important, I thought that might have something to do with how much she knew about artifacts that would interest the Dark Lord.
The whole thing with Albinus was from a possible error in "HBP". Mudingus was seen speaking with Albinus, but Harry was told that Albinus didn't trust Mudingus in "GoF" and has a very good memory. I could only think of one reason he'd be talking to Mudingus: he wanted something Muddy had.
That's how I thought of all that. _________________

Wait a minute...did I miss something? Where did you get Albinius from? The only brother I remember Dumbledore having was Aberforth! _________________ "If you love me, then let go of me. I won't be held down by who I used to be."

| I think different things of Dumbledore's will probably go to different people. I think Aberforth might get something, either Hagrid or Harry might get Fawkes (I read something somewhere about Harry getting a new pet in book 7), Professor Mcgonnagal gets the school (obviously), and Professor Trelawney might get something because she was the one who told Dumbledore about the prophecy. I don't think all of Dumbledore's stuff will just go to Harry. Most of it will probably go to Professor Mcgonnagal. |

| Its a very good theory...but I want to point out something...The fact that Aberforth bought the locket from Mundungus in your theory would mean that Mundungus got it from the Blacks' house which would mean that R.A.B is Regulus Black?... |

I've always thought she'd be an Unspeakable or something of the sort. _________________

It's a very entertaining theory, to be sure, and very plausible, except that Dumbledore makes a remark in one of the books that leads the reader to believe that Aberforth isn't very bright... though I can't remember what it is or where it is and I could be wrong. Anyway, other than that... the only reason this wouldn't show up in the books is because it's so original, I don't think even JKR would think of something like that. So yeah, it's plausible and it'd be fun to use in a fanfiction or something, but I don't actually think it'll happen... lol
But look him up on hp-lexicon.org. You'll find that he's not the most respectable character in the world. _________________ Fairytales are more than true; not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten. |

He is not dead.
Aberforth is the bartender at the Hog's Head in Hogsmeade nad it is possible, that Mundungus, sold him the locket that he might have stolen from Sirius's house. |

You have some lovely ideas. The Pensive I think will go to Snape. He lent him it before so why not. If not Harry. The Pensive will be filled of memories of Snape's that he wanted to hide from Harry. I know you can but memories in but can you pull them out? I don't think so.
The phoenix will be Harry's. Who else would need a bird that can swallow a killing curse.
I don't think Harry would get he sword becasue the sword does not belong to DD. It is the school's or the hat's or whatever. Unless DD is the hier or gryffindor he can't give away the sword. But I imagine that Harry can use it if he likes.
I think Voldermort didn't want to kill Lilly because Snape begged for her life. Because he was in love with her. Voldermort agreed not to kill her. When he got there she woould not co-operate so he had to. VOldermort not understanding love things that Snape has long forgotten about Lilly and is still on his side. But little does he know that Snape goes to Dumbledore and tells his his secret and gains DD trust. Snape, the wonderful spy that he is knows about Voldermort Horcrux's and tells DD all about them. That pormts DD to find out as much about the Horcrux and where he came up with the idea to make them from.
Harry will notice that Snape is good and go back to school in hope of finding the book.
As to how Harry will get his hands on the locket i don't know.
As to Lilly kowing where magical artifacts were was not important. At the time of his death he already had his seven lives. He expressed interest in the number seven as it was the most poweful magical number.
I don't think it was said that Aberfort was not smart all it said was he was aressted for performing illigal magic on a goat. he caould have been trying to get a bezoar for all we know. _________________ Remember, Remember, the 5th of November |

| I think it's also very important that Harry has her eyes. It's metioned a lot in all the books and it has to be important. And maybe Snape hated Harry because he was in love with Lily but James "stole" her from him and since Harry is a lot like his father maybe Snape sees his dad in him. |

| I can see that as a possibility; yet I don't see Lily ever having feelings for Snape. |
