Severus sat in the courtroom, playing with his hands nervously.
How long does it take... He thought to himself, the five minutes that had passed had seemed like an eternity. He sighed, looking around the abandoned room... it seemed a lot bigger when he was the only one in it.
The Minister and council walked back to their seats and sat down... Severus straightened himself immediately. The Minister looked troubled, but how bad could the punishment be, after all, it wasn't that much of an offense...
"Mr. Snape, we have decided an adequate punishment for the crime committed." The Minister paused to look down at some notes he had obviously made during the meeting, and turned back up to Severus. "The council and I conclude that you shall be held in the Ministry prison for exactly 6 months. You will still have class, will be allowed visitors on the weekends, and you will have the most pristine living conditions possible... but you must stay in your cell at all times, even for meals. Is this understood?" Severus' eyes widened.
"P-Prison?" He stuttered, his throat suddenly extremely dry.
"Yes... prison. Very high-security prison, for 6 months... but it will be nothing like Azkaban would be, we would never send a young boy there. Are you in understanding of your consequences, Severus?" Severus nodded in response, taking a deep breath in an attempt to clear his head.
It didn't work.

PRISON!!! on his very first offense??? i am goin down to the ministry to protest against this... this is an outrage!!! they gonna keep him in a cell for 6 months??? no wonder he looks so pale now as presnt day snape... this is really disgusting...

oh no u got it wrong... m not commenting on ur story writing... i love it u already kno tht... m jus getting into the reading kno wat i mean??? this is how i react even wen i read rowling... m jus putting dwn watever m thinking while i read... besides i feel like m watching the story happen like 'truman show'...
thts why m goin out to protest against the ministry.. if my problem was ur story writing i'd b protesting outside ur house
