Well in this book i did at the start but then when i found out he almost killed Harry i started to dislike him but then in the OOTP he redeemed himself by telling HP about the glorious Room of Requirements.
I loved Dobby. He was funny.. Kind of annoying at times, but I still loved him. _________________ Name: Crystal Wolfrain

I thought the character Dobby was very well made using visual effects. I thought it was cool that they can digitally enhance a ball on a stick to a real living and breathing unique character. I love the way he talks especially when he fails to use correct grammer. The voice of Dobby is also very talented.
At first I didn't like Dobby because he nearly killed Harry with that bludger but after I found out he was a house elf of the Malfoys I felt sorry for him. Thank luck he was relesed from slavery at the end. Dobby is also usefull in 4th book when he told Harry about 2nd mission and in 5th book when Harry is looking for a classroom or anything to practise defense against the dark art and then Dobby tells him about What Yo Want -You Get chamber.
I classify him as “list of people who must be killed”.
Wow, you're evil. Dobby's so adorable, don't kill him! That's awful. He's only doing his best to help Harry after all, and if his actions are a bit silly at least he's trying, right? Don't be mean to poor Dobby.
Spoiler:
I am very sorry to inform you of this, but Dobby does get killed in the seventh book. He's actually fatally stabbed in the process of saving Harry's life.
I was SO sad when it happened! I had to put the book down for a few hours because it was just so sad! At that instant, Dobby became my favorite character in the entire series. Poor Dobby!
The first time I read CoS, I actually kind of felt sorry for Dobby. I mean, I was kind of mad at him for sending that Bludger after Harry, but he didn't seem to know any better. Plus, once he stared talking about how he was treated at the Malfoy's, I just felt really sorry for him.
BTW, Does anyone have that movie clip where Dobby greets Harry at Privet Drive? I've been searching all over the internet, but the closest I could find were those fandubs where people talk over the actual lines. _________________
Me too! So, to all those fo you who have read Deathly Hallows, I propose a toast. To Dobby. Faithful, Loyal, and Brave. A house-elf that loved his freedom, his friends, and his socks. He gave everything to help his friends in a time of need. May he rest in peace.
