I've been having a problem lately (Mainly in the ABC's Of Harry Potter thread) where when I click on Submit, it just previews it, no matter how many times I hit submit it just previews it. I refresh the page and that sometimes works, but I was wondering if there was something I could do for this to stop? It's starting to get annoying.

I've been having the same problem!
I wonder if it's because people are trying to post at the same time. Because it only seems to happen in the abc's threads and the celebraton threads.

You must wait at least 5 seconds from the time the reply form loads until you hit the Submit button. If you click Submit too soon, you will be sent to the Preview window. This is to prevent spam bots from posting. The reason this is occuring in the threads you mention is because you're creating a very short reply and hitting Submit too soon. Next time, wait a little bit between writing the post and submitting the form, and it will work.

Is there something like that for posting topics too?.. which would deter those spammers from over the weekend?

The above rule is in effect for all posts (new topics and replies). Additionally, there is a limit of 1 post every 15 seconds. This limits some spamming, while allowing normal members the ability to submit posts pretty quickly.

Regarding the spammers from last weekend, there is little you can do to prevent actual people from manually spamming the forum. Essentially, they are behaving like normal people, except their content is bad. If you block the actions they did, you would hamper the ability of normal members to post. However, there is a lot you can do to prevent automated spamming -- and we do a lot to prevent this.

Thanks Dar, also, very smart idea to prevent spammers.
