I was sitting on my couch, and all the sudden I remember something quite significant in the first book! The first thing we see of Snape, the first memory or intro of him, he is sitting at the table, and he is staring, straight...into Harry Potters eyes!

I love it! And Harry couldn't figure out why Snape continuedly stared at him but it all makes sense now..Harry has Lily's eyes, as if that isn't repeated throughtout the series about a million times...But anyways, I thought that was so awesome that she already had Snape and Lily's relationship all planned out right from the beginning, I love it.!! I love snape.

but really, I think its so freakin sad! !!!! I love snape...and how he's just starring into Harry's eyes..he must have almost been in tears... Sad

great catch...i reread the first after the 7th and i didn't catch that even though i vividly remember reading that and thinking what it could mean lol...

I just think its sad that Snape, who was so completely misunderstood, all along actually had a genuine care for Harry.

I've read many people think that he never cared about Harry but only for Lily's sake, but he could have been so much more viler in her death, but he wasn't, he truely cared for Harry through and through.

I think this is most expressed in the chapter 'A Prince's Tale' where Snape yells at DD when DD tells him that Harry must die..."we helped him stay alive for him to die!" or something like that.

good point.
before the 7th book came out, i always thought that he was starring at him in the first movie because he was harry potter.
i mean, that's why all the staff and students were starring at him.
so, this makes complete sense.

OMG!!! I was just talking to my friend about this WOW!!! and she didn't remember dat part of the books so i was like, " It looks like u have homewrok from me, read the first book again", but this proves it snape was really looking into lily's eyes!!! OHH I LOVE JKR!!!

Well, I'm reading all books now. Just to catch and connect all those yummy bits and pieces <3

I remembered that Snape was looking into Harry's eyes. Maybe because I generally put a lot attention into what's Snape doing xDDDD
