Wow looks like most people disagree. I think that this Harry Potter movie was right on actually. It was probably the most closest to the book than the other movies.

It's my favorite so far. I usually find the films disappointing but I really liked this one! I just wish they kept in the quidditch and the weasley is our king stuff . But I guess that doesn't really relate to anything else so its ok but it would have been cool.

Yeah i know what you mean, if you hadn't read the book it would have been slightly confusing as it didn't even say much about the prophecy itself. But it was an enjoyable film just disappointing that it left out so much, because I heard it's the biggest book but the shortest film so I think they could have added more.

For me it was very disappointing. It had its moments, of course. And I think that if I was able to separate it from the book, I would have enjoyed it more.

However, I was looking forward to it for so long--since the release date was announced, and I went to the midnight showing with tickets that I had for like 3 weeks prior, and there were things I was really looking forward to seeing that weren't really there.

And it worries me when they change so much about how things happen, the order in which they happen, or even leave them out entirely...because there are things that I feel are important that lead into the rest of the story...and I don't see how they can continue the movies without changing even more stuff and leaving more stuff out.

It seems like they aren't really taking into consideration what's supposed to happen next when they make the movies.

Sadly, most of what you say is true.

I think this is the best movie so far. I can watch movie as a movie so, 9-10, I really enjoyed it.

But if I have to compare, I´d give 7-8.

I thought the movie was great, the best so far. The acting from the trio improved greatly from the last film. Also they were accurate with the book. Keep in mind that the movies are more or less summaries of the books. They can't have every single detail in them or they would be 12 hours long. And as much as I would like to see that, it isn't going to happen.

I was a little disapointed, because it doesn't follow the book very well, a lot of things are invented by director (e.g. Nigel) and so on. Well, if I didn't read the book some weeks before, I would find it great, but.... I know the book very well, so... well I have to watch it for another time at home Smile

it was okay, gave it a 7-8. Wasn't all that ,but wasn't too bad. Just wanted ALOT more action, but loved the trick Fred and George pull on Umbridge.

Sort of which they show the Weasley is our king part and I wanted to see Hermione get blasted by that curse and wished that dumbedore and Voldy's dueling scene was longer but can't always get what you wish for I guess.

Actually, I'd call the poll more of a 1-5 than 1-10 scale....

Generally I found the movie enjoyable, 7-8. It had enough flaws to prevent it from getting top marks, but I wasn't disappointed. It inherently had to have the intricate and involved plotline trimmed down.

The best directed and paced movie is still the third (which was the first to do serious streamlining), though I think the inherently better story makes the 4th a better movie. The only one that I found on the weak side was the second, which illustrates that what flows well in a book and what flows well in a movie are not always the same thing.

I was disappointed with the film, it skipped around to much for my taste. The only scenes I enjoyed were the DA scenes and the Ministry scene. Everbody has thier own opinions and thats fine with me.

I gave it a 7-8. Too much important stuff was cut out for my liking. And Tonks never said "Wotcher Harry"...that annoyed me the most

I thought it was awesome and rated it a 9-10. And yes I HAVE read the book.

So far its my best movie. I've seen it twice and havn't got bored, and want to see it again, lol.

The worst movie in the series was Goblet of Fire. It got spoiled and I'm upset about that movie!

I thought it was great special effects and stuff but they missed out the whole "chase" bit at the end!!! When they r runnin from the death eaters. All they did was skip that bit and have a battle in the circular room with the many doors on the walls. The chase bit was my favourite bit in the book!!! Man they always cut out the good action bits and everyone says that "Action is all they put in the movies". lol looks like its the other way around for me anyway.

Crying or Very sad Hmm, I watched the film twice but thought it isn't even remotely as exciting as the book itself. Think the movie is just a huge collection of images and video effects, lacking the necessary connection between the scenes. I would say it's impossible to understand the whole plot as well as characters only by watching the film. Maybe it's because the fifth book is too lengthy to be presented in a two-hour video... many fantastic scenes are ignored. Still think the first movie in the series is the best one....

I gave it a 7-8. I thought it was really good just a few things that were left out or changed bugged me a little. Like the 'Snape's worst Memory' scene should have been longer, and they didn't show how Ron and Hermione became prefects! Did anyone notice Luna's radish earrings? That made me smile! Very Happy
