Just realized today how great my copy of this book is. I have a first edition first print leather bound copy. It was given to me and I never thought about it. It has a leather cover and golden-edged pages, as well as a drawing on the inside that JK Rowling did of Harry Potter.

the first edition had gold pages? or is it like a special edition?

I think it would be some sort of special edition. It would be a fantastic thing to have, you really look after that book or I'm coming to take it off you Laughing

I have a old copy...the one with the blue back ground and a picture of a dude in a cloak...But i killed it by putting stickers of captain underpants on it.

*Note a signed set of HP 1-5 went in the thousands of dollars at an auction, tell me that's not crazy.

i lost my copy of the first book. *sniff*
anyone knows where i can download a FREE PDF copy of the harry potter and the sorcerer's stone? plss... i have no money to buy a new one. i hate the one who borrowed it and didnt bring back.. grrr (it was like 5 yrs ago!)
